Marcus was born a poor black child in Southern North Dakota.

He started playing drums at age 4 because he wanted to be like John Bonham of Led Zepplin.

By age 7, he had OD'd thrice but failed each time to choke on his own vomit.

At 15, he became a roadie for the J Giles band. He eventually became the Head Guitar tech and was the inspiration for the hit, "Centerfold".

He moved to Utah to attend BYU on a croquet scholarship.

Marcus is a hairstylist, however, he is not gay (not that there's anything wrong with that.)
